To help make your family's move as smooth as possible, please come into the Tierra Vista Communities Office immediately after receiving your orders to put in writing your 30-Day Notice to Vacate. Once you have submitted your notice in writing, a Tierra Vista's representative will help you setup a final inspection of your home. You may also request a pre-inspection prior to your final inspection date so that we may answer any specific questions you may have.
During the Pre-Inspection, a TV team member will go through the cleaning standards with you. If you have any tenant-caused damage that you are concerned about, they will talk with you about the cost to repair the damage.
For the Final Inspection the home must be fully emptied and cleaned. After the inspection the resident will turn the keys over to the Leasing Consultant. If any monies are owed, they will be forwarded to the address provided by the resident at the final inspection. The resident should expect the refund check around the 15th of the following month.
Departing residents may submit a Notice to Vacate online by visiting our online document center under "Apply for a home". Feel free to call the Tierra Vista Office with any additional questions.
