  • The Resident Guide, page 13, rule/item # 2.20 states that trashcans can be put out on Tuesday night after 8 pm for Wednesday pick up, but must be removed from the curb and stored in their designated area by 7pm Wednesday evenings.
  • Tierra Vista asks that this rule be adhered to not only for the sake of the appearance of our neighborhoods, but for the fact that this also plays an important part in safety.
  • When trash cans are left out for extended periods of time and in such a manner that they are blocking the sidewalk, children commuting to and from school by foot are forced to step into the street, causing unnecessary danger. We ask residents to please follow the guidelines and keep trash cans off of the sidewalk as an extra step to ensure the safety of the children at Schriever AFB.
