Departing Residents
Thank you for choosing to live at Tierra Vista at Peterson AFB. We hope your family has enjoyed the stay with us.
To help make your family's move as smooth as possible, please come into the Tierra Vista Communities Office immediately after receiving your orders to put in writing your 30-Day Notice to Vacate and a final inspection date will be scheduled. Residents that are moving out of Tierra Vista housing are required to attend a move-out session that takes place every Wednesday at the Tierra Vista Community Management Office starting at 5:15 p.m.
For the Final Inspection the home must be fully emptied and cleaned. After the inspection the resident will turn the keys over to the Leasing Consultant. If any monies are owed, they will be forwarded to the address provided by the resident at the final inspection. The resident should expect the refund check around the 15th of the following month.
Departing residents may submit a Notice to Vacate online by visiting our online document center under "Apply for a home". Feel free to call the Tierra Vista Office with any additional questions.
